A Happy Place

Everybody needs a happy place.  A place you can think of and go to in your mind when you're feeling frustrated, hopeless, angry or living with any thoughts that don't serve your highest and best good. A happy place is like an emotional button you push that floods your mind and body with good vibes. It fills you with warmth, comfort and good feelings. It isn't a place you escape to, but a place that gets your vibration back on track so that you can be in a state that will attract good things. It took me awhile, but I have found mine in Rarotonga. This little piece of land in The Cook Islands will forever remind me of happiness, openness, and natural beauty. If you need a happy place and you don't have one yet, this one might work for you also. It's here as long as you need it. Imagine you're on this beach. Take all of your emotions and feelings with you, no matter how dark or upsetting. As each wave goes out, say "Thank you [dark feelings], but you are not me. You are not my inner truth, you have served your purpose, I hold the wisdom of the experience, and I release you." Let them wash away with the waves. With each wave that washes in, let it bring you happiness, love and a return to what you are in your core - unlimited Love and potential. You can try breathing in with the in-wave and out with the release wave.
