Here's one of my favorite ways to manifest something new in your life: Say thank you for something that hasn't happened yet. If you truly feel into it and do it with heartfelt intent you will generate something very, very cool.
I like to do it this way: I wake up in the morning and I say, "Thank you so much for all the amazing things that showed up today! What an amazing day! I had no idea so many cool things could happen in a day! Thank you thank you thank you!" This feels really good & sets a very positive intention for the day. When you do this with serious intent you will pretty much expect that something amazing is going to show up. You can do the same at night, "Thank you so much for all the things that happened while I slept! Wow, that was so easy!" And when you expect it the Universe has no choice but to bring it to you. By saying it with deep gratitude you are attracting it to you in the purest way possible. I would love for you to try this and experiment with different things. Sometimes I get specific and say, "Thank you so much for bringing me this blessing for my CAREER! I had no idea that was possible." And then I wait, and I promise you, something always shows up. When you do get something be sure and send more gratitude out and believe that you created it. Give yourself credit so that you can manifest more and more until you have everything you've ever dreamed of. If nothing happens keep trying it until you FEEL it. This is the key. Feel what it will be like when x, y and z show up. If you don't feel a little giddy or want to smile you aren't quiet there. But you can get there and all it takes is a willingness and an intention. Doing this little exercise could be the shift in energy you need to manifest from a positive place. It's true you could manifest when you feel desperate for something, but you're doing that from a less pure place and so it will show up in that way - complicated, maybe messy and feeling like work. If you are desperate for, let's say love, and you manifest a partner what you'll get is someone that matches that energy: someone who NEEDS you, someone who doesn't love you because you're you but because you fill a void in them. And that kind of love is conditional. You are probably looking for unconditional love. When you start saying, "Thank you so much for bringing me the perfect person," you are attracting from a good place, from a place that says, "All is well and it's only going to get better." So let's get rid of the complicated, messy and work-filled aspects. Let's make this easy and let's allow it feel good. That is the natural way, that is your natural ability. Believe it and it will be so. Are you ready? It's this easy, just read these words and feel into them: "Hi, Universe. I'm (your name). I just want to say thank you so much for bringing me this surprising yet perfect thing that showed up today. Thank you so much. I wasn't even considering it, but I'm so glad it showed up today. It's just want I needed! Thank you!"

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! Much love to you today & every day. Along with being the day of love today also happens to be World Sound Healing day. It's such a beautiful convergence of two powerful topics: love & healing through sound. World Sound Healing day is a day to chant AH, the tone for Mother Earth, and channel love into the Earth. It's a wonderful way to feel you give back for all you receive from our incredible planet. I'd like to share a video I posted before that always moves me into remembering how incredible life, the world and our existence is. If you are looking for a valentine, or you already have one and you'd like another, Earth is always a wonderful choice! Watch this incredible video featuring the astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson below. It'll get you in the perfect mood to chant AH to Earth. Then when you're ready or in a place to do so, go to the website that is hosting World Sound Healing Day: http://www.worldsoundhealingday.org/. It will explain how the chanting works, the intention, and direct you to the place where those are listening to the chant and joining in throughout the day. Toning to Earth will not just channel healing vibes of love into the Earth but it will help you to heal also. It'll heal your root chakra, which is your chakra for grounding, and help you to feel stronger, more balanced and more connected. It will also help you to ground in good, positive feelings about life and the Earth which is a sure way to bring more good things (and even miracles!) into your life. When you focus on love you are attracting more love into your life, and when you focus that love on Earth you are attracting more love of LIFE into your life, which means more amazing experiences. Have fun, checkout the website & please share! Happy Valentine's Day & I wish you a joy filled day of healing, opening & connecting. Once again the website is here: http://www.worldsoundhealingday.org/ and the short video titled "The Most Astounding Thing About the Universe" is below or click here: http://youtu.be/9D05ej8u-gU "I choose to know who I am. I choose to make the commitment to myself to find my most true, authentic self. I choose to see my gifts brought into the world to be shared, like jewels, with those sisters and brothers whose paths I cross. I choose to appreciate each interaction with another as holy. I choose to find faith that my purpose will be revealed in both the quiet moments of solitude and in the active moments of daily life. I choose to pay such close attention to all these things that my being sings with joy and I release my fears and doubts. I pray to the wordless grace of spirit/creator to stay true to my choices." - Jamie Anderson, Olypmic Gold Medalist, Women's Slopestyle There are many different ways to remind yourself that you’re awesome and you can do FAR more than you think you can. I would like to present you with the challenge today that you go out and find one small thing that is slightly beyond where you’re comfortable. A thing you want to try or do but you’re resisting because you don’t believe you can. I don’t mean something that requires training or practice, but just something you think you could do if you took a stab at it. I recently found mine after a weekend at a yoga retreat. I’m by no means a yogi and was nervous I was going to collapse in a heap during the two hours of yoga. Fortunately for me about half it was kundalini yoga, or breathing exercises, which I mentioned in a separate post on here. At this yoga weekend one of the asanas we were asked to do was a headstand. I thought NO WAY. There was no I was going to do that and tumble off my mat and break something (which wasn’t even the worst fear - public humiliation is a far bigger motivator to stay down). For those of us, which was the majority, that didn’t want to try the headstand we were given a different exercise to do. This exercise was hard and further cemented in my belief I’d never be able to do it. After I got home though it lingered in the back of my mind. If I tried, could I do it? How long would it take to master? I thought, well, only one way to find out. There is a force happening in my life right now, a momentous of growth and opening that feels like the conclusion to a decade of events and experiences. This is one of those times that feels like more than just a seasonal change or an abrupt end that led to an unexpected yet fresh rebirth. Those are the cycles of our lives that occur frequently, perhaps yearly, the changes that thrust us forward through each stage of our life. This is something more than that. This is something that began with forces that move slow but are powerful and unstoppable. It began with desires, wishes and hopes that created a hot core and have unknowingly been building and shaping me, showing signs they were there but unable to truly come forth until the time was right. A tipping point had to be reach, a critical mass, or as it goes with a volcano, the rising forces had to outweigh the pressurizing ones. Something started deep inside me has been finding it’s way to the surface like the molten earth that slowly finds a way to burst out into the open. It all began with a wish to love myself and a desire to live my passions. In essence, a cry to the Universe to help me be happy. I had no idea it would take a decade to unfold. I’ve written a couple things lately about where I was ten years ago and the things that make that ten year period feel as if it’s coming to a close. For some people, the quest for self-love and happiness unfolds quickly, and it is like the changing of seasons. For others like myself it’s a different cycle, one that is more unpredictable, a bit scary, but incredible and important in it’s own way. “We are unsettled by the thought that a peaceful mountain can suddenly become an unstoppable destructive force!” - howstuffworks.com From another blogger (Monique at A Novel Quest) I've learned about Coursera. It's a listing of all the free courses you can take from Universities around the world. I know for people who want to get motivation to make a change in their life there's the persistent questions of "Where do I begin?" followed closely by "how?". Here's one of the many options you can try, Coursera. Dabble with some courses, see if it any of it ignites a little passion in you. Or you might try it and think, oh yeah, I still hate school. That's not for me. Either way, trying something new might be just the boost you needed to get going to what is right for you. I've signed up for "Imagining Other Earths" from Princeton University. I'm SO excited from the intrudoctory email and video. It's not too late to join this one! I was already sold on it before the video started, but as he started talking about the final lessons of designing my own solar system I got pretty pumped. The instructor says it's light on the science and anyone can take this course. |
