Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another steppingstone to greatness. - Oprah Winfrey In too many instances, the march to globalization has also meant the marginalization of women and girls. And that must change.
- Hillary Clinton Women, like men, should try to do the impossible. And when they fail, their failure should be a challenge to others. - Amelia Earhart Speaking very generally, I find that women are spiritually, emotionally, and often physically stronger than men. - Gary Oldman I think God made a woman to be strong and not to be trampled under the feet of men. I've always felt this way because my mother was a very strong woman, without a husband. - Little Richard

Part one of this contained a written piece about acknoweldging and transmuting emotions. I created that part as something you could read when you aren't in a position to put on your headphones and meditate. If you're at work, on a noisy train, too tired to mediate, etc., that might be able to help you.
This second part is about a guided meditation I created to help you when you just can't get through your fear blocks no matter what you try. Or perhaps you've never tried because you're afraid of the fear (this is more common than you realize). If that's the case, rest assured you will feel safe and supported during this meditation. It's different than my others for two reasons. The first is that once you get grounded the guidance goes pretty fast without the usual breaks to rest and reflect. This will help keep your mind from jumping in and telling you all kinds of limiting thoughts. The other thing that is different is that this meditation willl have you ask for God's help more than the others (most of my meditations are non-denominational). It's not because this meditation is religious nor trying to insist you be religious. Rather, it's because I want you to succeed. I know how powerful fear can be. I know it's something that can halt people from living their lives to the fullest. In order to get you past your fear I created this meditation to be infused with the loving support of God, the Angels, and your Higher Self. If there was ever a time to hand something over and to stop insisting you resolve it yourself, facing your fear is it. Just hand it over. You have dreams to live, love to find, and adventures to take on. Hand over your fear, let God handle it and go on with the life you came here to love. If you feel guilty or worried that asking God to help you with your fear is selfish or wrong please try and let that go. God is love, God wants more love in this world, and God is ready, willing and eager to help you turn your fear back into love. If it helps, you can remind yourself how much better this world is with more love and less fear and know that you aren't just doing this for you, you're doing it for a better world. Really! In case you forgot, you are important and you are shaping this world, whether you realize it or not. So be your happiest, most care free self. Aks for help getting there. Do what you have to do. It's a blessing you can give to the world over and over. Are you ready to transcend and transmute your fear? Transcending Fear, Guided Meditation is now available for $5.00. One of the biggest hurdles to fulfilling our potential in life is our fear. In general, I find it's not the fear itself that stops us, but the inability to confront the fear. We go to great lengths to hide from it, to pretend we don't feel it, or to convince ourselves we don't want what's on the other side of the fear.
Anytime we go somewhere new we're bound to feel a little nervous. We accept this as a part of travel, we even call it adventure and look forward to it. But when it comes to going somewhere metaphorically, such as opening up to a relationship, we act as if we're wrong or weak to be scared. We don't consider that an adventure waiting to be taken on. We judge ourselves and stop before we've even taken the first step. How do we deal with these emotional blocks and get back to remembering all of life is an adventure? And how do we do so as fast and as easy as possible? For me, the answer came in the “Release Technique.” I first heard about the Release Technique through Darius Barazandeh’s online radio show “You Wealth Revolution.” I was having a bad day and I just couldn’t seem to get control over my emotions. It was the kind of day where I stormed around and everyone seemed to be looking at me both with concern and wariness. I didn’t want to be boiling over like that, I really thought I knew every trick in the Spiritual book to bring myself back to my center, but the feelings had risen up so fast and so intense that I couldn't see the forest for the trees. I was angry. More than angry. I was pissed off and the reason I couldn't dial it down was because I was ignoring something key. The anger was a mask for my feels of fear. Fear of change, fear of failure, fear of success, it was all there, whether I looked at it or not. The anger, in some ways, was the fear's exhasperated yell for my attention. And by that point I had no choice but to listen. When I calmed down enough that I felt connected to my guidance again something was really trying to come through. This guidance kept telling me to listen to Darius’ radio show where he’d be interviewing Larry Crane about something he shared called “The Release Technique.” I listened in and I was so glad and grateful I did. The release technique turned out to be one of the simplest and most effective things I’ve ever done. This is inspiring me this morning. I have even more great quotes from Bruce Lee here.
Meditation can be done in many ways. Sitting in nature is one way, and if that's not possible, simply enjoying the beauty of nature captured by someone else is also a wonderful form of meditation and reflection. They sound the same! When researchers slow down voice recordings of people, they discover the people's voices sound like the ebb and flow of ocean tides. Then when researchers speed up the recordings, people's voices sound like dolphin cries. Speeded up more, like bird chirps. Even more like crickets. And guess what crickets chirps sound like slowed down? Yep. First like birds. Then dolphins. Then people. But wait! There's more. While examining the recordings of spacecrafts Voyager I and II at the California Institute for Human Science, scientists discover the same sounds! NASA recordings from outer space sound remarkably like ocean sounds, choirs of voices singing, dolphins, birds and crickets. Additionally, sounds produced by the rings of Uranus are virtually identical to those produced by Tibetan bowls. Researchers believe that this similarity is no coincidence. Scientific medical studies are discovering that the sound vibrations of dolphins, Tibetan bowls and choirs have a profound healing effect. Could this be the collective unconscious that Carl Jung refers to? A living collective library that contains all the knowledge of the Universe?" - Center for Neuroacoustic Research and The California Institute for Human Science Tom Waits (on Jim Wilson): "Wilson, he's always playing with time. I heard a recording recently of crickets slowed way down. It sounds like a choir, it sounds like angel music. Something sparkling, celestial with full harmony and bass parts - you wouldn't believe it. It's like a sweeping chorus of heaven, and it's just slowed down, they didn't manipulate the tape at all. So I think when Wilson slows people down, it gives you a chance to watch them moving through space. And there's something to be said for slowing down the world." |
