Happy Sunday From My Backyard

It’s been a while since I’ve sat in my backyard reading. It’s either been too cold, too foggy, or I just didn’t make it out before the sun went down. However, today I really wanted to make time to sit outside and enjoy the weather. It’s a pleasant mid 60s here today, and the sky is blue, and before I know it it’ll be dark, so here I am!

Ever since the pandemic started, I’ve been having a hard time reading. I used to read almost everyday, but that habit has dwindled to almost nothing. To get me back into my reading groove, I signed up for Kindle Unlimited. This is the Amazon plan that allows you access to a selection of books for one monthly price.

​I was a little underwhelmed with my choices, but I did find some good books, so I guess it was worth the price (I took the half off for three months deal). If you like a thrilling mystery with some good twists, I’ve been reading a lot of books by Mark Edwards. He’s a really fun and engaging writer, and I recommend his books if you’re also trying to get back into your reading groove! However, I can’t say for sure I recommend Kindle Unlimited… I’m still deciding on that one.
