If you're stuck in some heavy or dark feelings, whether that be anxious, sad, worried, or depressed, here's a little trick. It's going to sound a little odd, but whenever I do it I feel some relief. First, put one hand on top of your head. Then put one hand on your heart. And then imagine your heart is saying to your head, "I know you're doing the best you can. I love you." Keep repeating this simple phrase. Breathe deep. Close your eyes. I know you're doing the best you can. I love you. I know you're doing the best you can. I love you. I know you're doing the best you can. I love you. As you keep repeating the words, you might try expanding the phrase. I know you're doing the best you can. I love you and you're safe. I know you're doing the best you can. I love you and so does the whole Universe. I know you're doing the best you can. I love you and I'm taking care of you.
