I decided today would be a great day to share a word for reflection. I picked these cards from my Sacred Journey deck, which is one of my favorite decks for guidance and reflection. I closed my eyes and set the intention that I pick a card that was in the best interest of the collective energy. How are people feeling these days? What are they focusing on? What message would be most helpful? I opened my eyes and I was instantly drawn to a card. As I pulled it back I realized I had two cards. I flipped them over and I saw this was no accident. These two cards go perfect together. Below are the two words I chose, along with some insights and a bit for you to reflect or journal on. Take and deep breath and trust in the guidance that brought you here. Even if you're reading this long after I posted this, you're here for a reason. This message is for you:  I love that these two cards are all about going for it! Whatever it is you've been thinking about doing, or that you're in the process of making manifest, the Universe is telling you YES! These two cards have come together to say that what you want is possible, and to go after it one step at a time. These are not cards of instant results, but rather the cards of big dreams which take blood, sweat and tears to bring into actuality. These are the cards that ask you to dig deep into that dream you have, and to allow that digging to unearth hidden resources of strength, courage and conviction. Although there will be times you will want to give up, and you may feel your dreams are too hard to realize, you can reach them. And in truth, the pursuit of a challenging goal is a reward in itself. It strengthens us, challenges us to face our own feelings of limitation and pushes us far outside of our comfort zones. Nothing worth having was ever achieved in the blink of an eye. These two cards are brown, which in the Sacred Journey deck is the color of fire. This is a beautiful thing to keep in mind, because in order to chase your goals you will need some fire in your gut! You're going to need passion and intensity. You will need to burn through old thought patterns and release things that don't serve you. You will need to light yourself up and embrace this feeling, because you cannot stay in the shadows if you want to get where you're going. Now you've got your message, and the message the Universe wants you to have is YES. GO FOR IT. Whatever it is you have in mind, light your inner fire and go get it, knowing that getting this dream won't be a stroll around the block, but rather an adventure that takes you to places that open your mind and heart. You will reach places you never dreamed you'd reach that awaken your spirit with every step you take. Bonus card!  As I went to put the cards away this card flipped over and fell out. It's a perfect companion to the cards above, which are all about the inspired actions you can and will take. The cards above are about the actual, physical steps you will take. This card has shown up to remind you that goal chasing isn't just about striving for a sense of accomplishment. It's also about playing with the magic of the Universe. It's about allowing synchronicity to show up, practicing letting go of control, and allowing trust to fill your mind and body. With this card, you are being asked to know that you must bring your heart on this journey. You cannot think and force your way through everything. Sometimes you must feel your way through things. You must feel deep inside of you that you believe you can reach your destination. You must feel why this is important to you. You must feel why this dream lights your fire. You must believe you are being divinely supported. You must believe that even though you can't always see the next step, it's there. This card is also here to remind you that you can't do it alone, and you're not meant to. Trying to do everything alone is often a way of feeding the ego. We must all remember that asking for help isn't a sign of weakness, but a sign that we understand this is a co-creative world. This card is purple, which is the color of Air in the sacred journey deck. It's also the color of the crown chakra, and so with this card, you are being asked to remember that what supports you is not only the ground below, but the heavens above. The Universe has got your back. Forces beyond all understanding have got your back. All the angels of heaven have got your back. Believe it.
