During the summer, I began playing with making mosaics on pots. I had no idea what I was doing, I just knew I needed a creative outlet. I gathered my supplies, invited a friend over, and realized I didn’t actually have what I needed!
What I didn’t know was that you glue each piece down, and then fill the gaps in with tile grout. After a quick trip to the store to get some glue, I was in business. My friend came back the next day, and I quickly learned something else. Like most things that look beautiful and effortless, it wasn’t as easy as it looked. I learned as I went, and although my work is far from professional, I’m so happy with what I made. Below you will see pictures of the third pot I finished. As I finish pots im gathering up succulents, which makes me so happy, as I’ve always wanted a little succulent collection! I’ll be sitting down in a bit to work on pot #4. I can’t wait to see how this one turns out as I’m trying something a little different on this one. If you’re looking for a way to get creative, clear your mind, and fill your home with color, I highly recommend giving mosaics a try! Comments are closed.
