What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us. - Henry S. Haskins This quote is often attributed to Henry David Thoreau or Ralph Waldo Emerson. However, it originally appeared in a mysterious and anonymous book titled "Meditations in Wall Street". It was published in 1940 with a selection of reflections and thoughts from Haskins. The book itself had little to do with Wall Street and has been a source of curiosity ever since.
