A lot going on right now. Deep breath. We got this.
This little flower was one of the only ones I could find on my hike. I loved it as both a symbol of change and a symbol of strength. With so much already going dormant for winter, there wasn't much color on my hike. The signs of the changings seasons were all around me.
And as one of the last flowers to brighten us with its color, it's also a sign of resilience. I was surprised and delighted to find this little yellow guy amongst a sea of dry browns and tans. As an added bonus, yellow is a color often associated with hope.
These days, I am feeling hopeful indeed.
Hi! I'm Melissa and this is my blog Take Photo Calm Self.
I have struggled with anxiety and depression my whole life. One thing that has always helped me was taking photos (even if they're amateur). I decided to share these photos with others who might need a moment of calm. Thanks for coming by!
