Next to taking photos, spending time in my garden is my second most favorite way to calm my anxiety. I love watching the plants grow and change through the seasons. If you have a garden, do you have a favorite plant? Mine is my artichokes, which are about half way through their current cycle.
This photo is from a trip I took many years ago in Greece. As a cat lover, I adored the surplus of cats everywhere. If there was ever a place where cats felt like Gods, it was Greece. I can only imagine how funny I looked, a tourist crouched down in the street of an acient world, surrounded by ancient beauty taking photos of... cats.
Holding a bunny is one of the most soothing things I have experienced. They are so soft and gentle. This guy came from a family member who currently has a litter of youngins. I'm kind of thinking about keeping one. If I do, you can expect a lot more bunny pictures around here!
Hi! I'm Melissa and this is my blog Take Photo Calm Self.
I have struggled with anxiety and depression my whole life. One thing that has always helped me was taking photos (even if they're amateur). I decided to share these photos with others who might need a moment of calm. Thanks for coming by!
