When you're in the midst of something that makes you feel like you're drowning, the last thing you want to do is let go. You want to keep your head above water, keep fighting with every last ounce of strength. But sometimes letting go is the very thing that is going to save you.
This meditation can be used in a lot of ways, and one way that makes it different from the others is it's like a panic button. When everything is falling apart, you're exhausted, and your list of things to do keeps growing, then this meditation is going to catch you as you fall to the ground in surrender. It'll allow you to step back, breathe, recenter, heal, rest, and let go of what's not working for you. Sometimes all we need is to set everything aside for a moment so that we can get some much needed perspective and clarity.
This is the only meditation I created that can be enhanced by falling asleep while you listen. It will continue to work on relaxing you and allowing you to let go even further after you're asleep.
However, it's not designed to only be used when you're in complete overwhelm. It helps during times when you aren’t sure what’s holding you back and you feel stuck in the mud. It's a very gentle yet effective way to tone down and eventually erase a repetitive thought. It's also helpful in addressing deep, emotional wounds that you want to release in a safe and gentle way. It can be used to encourage your body's self-healing abilities if you're struggling with dis-ease and feel out of alignment. It's also wonderful for playing at night so that you put your highest intentions in your mind to saturate in you through the night.
Once the meditation gets going you will feel as if you're laying on the beach, being soothed by the ocean waves, the warm sun, and a tropical breeze. If you're meant to fall asleep to help with your healing you will. The meditation will continue to work on your subconscious, encouraging you to heal on deep, inner levels.
Conversely, if you're meant to stay awake you will, which will take you through a different experience. By staying awake you can have access to receiving clarity and higher guidance during the five minutes without my voice. During this time the background music Constellation will continue along with the rhythmic ocean waves. During this time you might get an a-ha, your mind might clear and go quiet, or you might feel energy returning to your body. You might even feel your mind waking back up, drifting through trains of thought, but with the angst replaced with peace, which help you stay calm once the meditation is over.
Whatever happens, just surrender to it.
The frustrating thing is that surrender is such a paradox. The more we need to do it the harder it is to do. It can be scary to enter into surrender and let go, but it is possible, and this meditation will guide and relax you through the entire journey. You will be guided into using visuals of the moon, the ocean tides, a warm breeze and the golden rays of the sun. Each step of the meditation will flow to the next, and before you know it something will have shifted inside you.
This audio includes an abridged version. I would encourage you to start with the full and play it at least a few times. Whatever it is that is calling you to this meditation will be helped most by the full version. The abridged doesn't include the physical body healing portions nor the energy raising portion at the end. I created it for the times when you really need help but you're unable to play the full meditation. The more you can play the full the more effective the abridged will be, as your mind will connect aspects of the short one to the full one.
