When big, overwhelming feelings hit it can feel like there's no relief in sight. They can give us the sense they'll go on forever, and we're powerless to reclaim our sense of center, calm and well-being. As the feelings dig in, we struggle against them, wanting them to dissipate, which leads to an inner battle that takes over our whole being.
In this meditation, you will find relief from this internal struggle. It is not designed to make your anxiety and stress instantly go away, but rather to help you to feel at peace with it all and to feel acceptance, which will then help you to get to the root cause and heal the source. This return to wholeness will help you to remember you are not powerless to your own feelings, but rather their creator, and able to work with these parts of yourself.
This meditation also seeks to reconnect you to the infinite Divine energy that cares for you at all times. You will be reminded of the love and support of God that is here for you at all times. As you come back into wholeness with your feelings, so you will come back into wholeness with your Divine self. You will be reminded of the power and support that you cannot see, but that is here for you always, working on your behalf.
For a deeper feeling of relaxation and letting go, you can also play this meditation while lying down. You might also try playing it while you fall asleep at night to help you have peaceful and healing dreams.
