​Imagine reaching the top of a mountain and feeling the exhilaration of the climb all throughout your body. You feel the cool wind on your face. You look down over the valley, and although that's where you started your hike, you see it completely different now. You have a higher perspective on it and you know that you are here, at the top of this mountain, because you took one step after another to get there. You know you are powerful, strong and determined.

This is the kind of journey you will have with this meditation. At 45 minutes, this is the longest meditation I have. Although it can't be done as quick as the others, each step is valuable and fulfilling. At the end of this meditation you will have gone through three stages, each one leading into and enhancing the next. Just as you wouldn't hike a real mountain every day, this is probably not something you will have time and energy for every day. However, as you do continue to use it, you will find each replay restores your inner strength and self-healing abilities more. 

In the first part of the meditation you will imagine a cool river running below your feet. This river will flow up and through you, touching every corner of your body inside and out. This will simultaneously relax you and begin the process of restoring your physical self. From this relaxed place, you will be in a better position to release unwanted thoughts and memories. These are the things that are holding you back, making you feel weak, small, limited, unwanted, and so on. 

You will pull up what it is you want to release, put it in a bubble, and push it out of your mind and energy field. This is a powerful step, and will reinforce to you that you aren't broken and in need of fixing by anyone else. It will empower you to know your mind can work with you, rather than against you. You can begin taking back control and retraining your mind to see a brighter, more positive side of life.

In the third step you will feel your entire mind, body and spirit join with the powerful and ancient energy of a mountain. You will remember that the earth and it's all majestic glories are a reflection of what you really are. You already are the mountain of strength, all you must do is remember it. As you go through this process a beautiful and nourishing energy will pour down from above. This will open up your energy to receiving healing from a higher power and will ensure you feel supported and loved in every way.
